This story certainly continues to bring tears to our eyes. Now that the families are being notified that Anthony Sowell has killed their loved ones, how can we offer any comfort? Who is to blame for this disastrous outcome? Could the government do anymore to protect these innocent women? Has domestic violence hit its ceiling in America? Will the families get any restitution from Ohio’s criminal justice system? Are they even partially responsible? Will the governor of Ohio provide any relief to these families? Probably not!

Yes, I have a lot of questions, and probably none of them will ever be answered. I am sure they will convict this guy to the highest extent of the law. This guy is more than sick, and most likely floridly psychotic.

Points to ponder for all readers, both male and female:
1. Never go home with a man on the first date, people. Meet your dates out in a public restaurants, theaters, and shopping malls.
2. Never have sex too early in a relationship. Most of you have a six month rule, but never make it.
3. Google him or her as soon as possible. You may be very surprised to see what’s in the newspapers about a new friend.
4. If you feel like getting serious, introduce him/her to your largest and meanest family member so he/she will think twice about domestic violence.
5. Set ground rules early in the relationship. Define early that “no means no!”
6. If he/she gives off a scary vibe, RUN!
7. If his/her home smells like dead people, leave and call the police. Sound humorous but one of his victims had to smell those carcasses.

Finally, never pick-up anyone in a club and take them home. You may be taking a serial killer home with you.
