In what was supposed to be a conversational and sound interview, Kanye West felt “some kinda way” about his treatment on the Today Show with Matt Lauer. Mr. West tweeted that he was apparently bothered by the fact that while making amends for his infamous “George Bush don’t care about Black people” comments, he was being “forcibly interrogated” by having the MTV clip running while he was talking. Today Show’s anchor Matt Lauer responded to his tweets mentioning that running audio clip was protocol, something the Today Show does every day, and on a usual basis with interviewees, Mr. West being no exception.
Although West was upset by this concept, even declaring “I don’t mess with Matt Lauer or the Today Show…” he is scheduled to perform on the show the day after Thanksgiving. Speaking a little too soon for our own good?
WAKE UP, MR. WEST!
