23-Year-Old Counselor Charged With Statutory Rape
Cinnamon Davis, 23, a school guidance counselor, was arrested after deciding to spend an entire weekend with her 17-year-old student.
Davis was charged with statutory rape after police discovered she was sexually involved with the student and gave him alcohol.
She was a counselor at Tennessee’s Varangon Academy for 7th to 12th graders”residential treatment facility for adolescent boys with emotional and behavioral problems.
She surely wasn’t doing her job right if she had a relationship with this student.
I’m not sure what’s in the water lately but I just keep seeing stories about teachers becoming sexually involved with their students.
What factors are at play for this to keep happening over and over?
