Apollo Nida, husband of Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks, was sentenced to eight years in federal prison for fraud!

You all may remember when Nida was arrested a few months back on the aforementioned fraud charges and it appears that he was guilty as charged. So how did the feds start to sniff out the rat? Nida’s accomplice, Gayla St. Julein, agreed to let authorities record her phone calls with Nida back when they were doing their investigation. In short, they got proof of him saying that he was waiting for stolen checks and delegating orders for the shady business to St. Julien.

Many already know that Apollo has  spent time in prison prior to this new sentencing. Unfortunately, a reform didn’t take place for the reality star. It’s reported that Apollo made millions of dollars from his scheme over the past four years. He illegally signed up with big name  companies to obtain people’s personal information. Identity fraud followed next.

Along with the fraudulent auto loan checks, Nida stole U.S. Treasury checks, “retirement checks issued to Delta Airlines employees, and checks in the names of real people that were owed unclaimed property from various state and federal government agencies

It’s highly unlikely that viewers will see any in-depth coverage of this fraud fest on RHOA but maybe Phaedra will continue on with the show for next season. If nothing else, this has certainly created a storyline to last an entire season.
